I recently completed the domestic violence for health care, and I found it to by higlyinformative and impactful. The course provided a comprensive overview of thr various forms of domestic violence, including physical, emotional, and financial abuses .It emphasized the prevelnace of these issues and highlighted how domestic violence can significantly affect individuals mental health and physical health ,which is especially relevant for health care and behavioral proffesionals like RBT.One aspect I appreciated most about this course was its practical approach. It not only outlined theoretical concepts but also provided real world examples and case studies that ilustrated how domestic violence presents in different populations. This helped me better understand the subtle signs of abuse and the importance of observing behavioralpatterns carefully. The course also including strategies for responding appropiately and sensitively when abuse is suspected, emphasizing safety, confidentiality, and proper reporting procedures.Additionally ,the course stressed the importance of a trauma informed approach when interacting with clients. It reinforced the need to create a safe, supportive ,and non judgemental enviroment ,which aligns perfectly with the ethical responsabilities of an RBT .The modules on communication skills, risk assesment, and collaboration with other health care professionals tools that can be inmediately applied in a clinical setting.Overall,I found this course extremely valuable for my professional development. It increased my awareness of domestic violence, enhanced my ability to recognized warning signs ,and strengthened my confidence in handling sensitive situacions.I now feel better equipment to support clients who may be experiencing domestic violence and to contribute to their course to any RBT or health care professional seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in this critical area
